Last night’s Back to School Bash was officially our best turnout ever! We were absolutely blown away by the number of families who came out to spend the evening with us and help us kick off another great school year!
One of the things that makes CES so special is our incredible community. Our families are involved, supportive, and always willing to show up for our students and our school. That partnership means more than you know, and we are so grateful to have a community that truly believes in and supports our Cubs.
Thank you for showing up, connecting with our teachers and staff, and making last night such a wonderful celebration. We couldn't ask for a better CES family!

Kindergarten Families — Tomorrow Is A Big Day!
Our Kindergarten stagger is officially complete, and tomorrow we are excited to welcome ALL of our Kindergarten students to CES!
A few important reminders for morning arrival:
- Doors open at 7:00 a.m. For the safety of our students, please do not drop students off before 7:00 a.m.
- Kindergarten students may be dropped off in the front car line, where CES staff will be ready to help them exit their vehicles and enter the building.
- Families may also bring Kindergarten students to the main entrance. We will have staff members inside the building ready to help students find their classrooms.
Morning Traffic Tips
We anticipate that traffic may be heavier than normal tomorrow morning as our new Kindergarten families join our regular arrival routines and become familiar with procedures.
Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation! A few simple reminders can help keep traffic moving safely and efficiently:
- If you would like to avoid peak traffic times, consider dropping your student off before 7:30 a.m.
- Have your child ready to exit the vehicle before reaching the drop-off zone.
- Pull all the way forward before stopping so we can unload as many vehicles as possible at one time.
- Students should exit on the passenger side of the vehicle whenever possible.
- Please remain in your vehicle. Our staff members are there to assist students as they exit.
- Avoid stopping or unloading students outside of the designated drop-off area.
- When possible, please use our designated drop-off line rather than parking and walking students across the parking lot. This helps reduce congestion and keeps traffic moving efficiently.
- If you do need to cross the car line as a pedestrian, please wait for a natural pause in traffic before crossing. This allows vehicles to continue moving safely while providing a safe opportunity for pedestrians to cross.
Working together allows us to get our students into the building safely and helps everyone start the day on a positive note.

🏀 Cougar Basketball Tryouts are just around the corner! 🐾
If your 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader is interested in representing Carpenters Elementary on the basketball court, we encourage them to come out and give it their best!
